Highways Development Management Trainee
As a Highways Development Management Trainee you would work alongside and shadow colleagues in our Highways Development Management Team. You will assist them in responding to consultations on planning applications and providing highways advice.
You will have a bespoke training package and will attend the IHE’s Transport Development Management Course. This will enable you to achieve an IHE Professional Certificate/ Diploma in Development Management.
Over the first three years you can expect to deal with a variety of work and opportunities to support and shadow more experienced officers on a range of projects.
Following the completion of the IHE Diploma/ Certificate we will support you to become an Affiliate Member of the IHE (Institute of Highway Engineers).
You will also have the opportunity to undertake placements in other areas to broaden awareness and knowledge such as our Highways Legal Agreements, Sustainable Transport, Strategic Growth, Planning and Technical Skills.
