Training for young drivers and learner drivers
Are you aged between 16 and 30? Ever wanted to drive on a track?
Now you can, at the UTAC Proving Ground in Millbrook, Bedfordshire.
Course for drivers (with a full licence)
The drivers' training course at UTAC includes:
- skid pan experience (deal with oversteer and understeer)
- emergency stops at 30, 50 and 70 miles per hour
- reading the road
- eco driving
- maintaining your car
- advice on the law
- distractions
- causes of crashes and collisions

Course for non-drivers (with a provisional or no licence)
Don't worry if you can't drive, yet; there's a course for you.
The non-drivers' training course at UTAC includes:
- spending time in a car, with an instructor
- theory workshops to help your understanding
- maintaining your car
- advice on the law
- distractions
- causes of crashes and collisions

About the track
The UTAC Proving Ground is between Ampthill and Marston Moreteyne in Millbrook, Bedfordshire.
It's used for putting vehicles through their paces and has featured in:
