Children and Young People's Plan

Children and Young People's Plan: 2022 to 2025

The Children and Young People's Plan 2022 to 2025 outlines five key priorities that we will focus on over the next 3 years to improve outcomes for children and young people in Central Bedfordshire, ensuring they have the best possible start in life, and succeed as they grow up.

The priority areas are:

  • Early Identification and Support
  • Protecting Children and Young People
  • Positive Mental Health and Wellbeing
  • Striving for Excellence
  • Navigating the Future

The updated Children and Young People's Plan 2022 to 2025 (PDF) builds on the success of the previous plan, which was launched in 2017.

The plan was developed in partnership by the Central Bedfordshire Children and Young People Partnership Alliance with the input of people who work with children and young people, and their families, and with feedback from representative parents and carers.

The plan recognises that children and young people can experience inequality and discrimination in relation to a range of characteristics and that ongoing consideration must be given to identifying and addressing these issues.
