About the role

An excellent opportunity has now arisen for several Care Assistants to join our domiciliary care services in Luton and Bedford on a full time and part time permanent basis. Plenty of work available.

We provide bespoke care services for any person who would benefit from help with things like personal care, light domestic tasks, shopping, medication management, companionship and a host of other services that make life easier and help to maintain health or speed up recovery.

The Role of a Care assistant at Churchill Care

To carry out and undertake specific and general tasks which will provide good quality of health, welfare and well being of the residents.

  • To contribute, develop and implement residents individual care and person centred plans
  • To work flexibly to meet peoples’ support needs
  • To communicate effectively and professionally with all persons in the residents life
  • To work as part of a team
  • To work effectively and professionally within the policies, procedures, aims, objectives and philosophy of the company with your colleagues

Responsibilities for our Care assistants

  • To complete induction and foundation training if you have no experience working with people
  • To undertake and complete NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care as a minimum standard requirement
  • Commit yourself to developing skills and knowledge as identified by you, your line manager, people you support and organisation
  • To be person centred in all aspects of your role
  • Previous experience as a care assistant is desirable but not an essential since all training needs will be provided for you including gaining a diploma in health and social care

Salary will be discussed at the interview stage.
