The Direct Access Service works closely with Community Mental Health Teams (CMHT) to provide psychological therapy service for adults age 16 and over. The service offers time-limited, medium term treatment to people with a range of moderate to severe mental health problems including:
- Anxiety disorders - Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD),
- Generalised Anxiety Disorder(AD),
- Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD),
- Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD),
- Panic/Agoraphobia,
- Social Anxiety
- Depression
- Somatoform Disorders
- Referral procedure

Referrals are accepted from:
- GPs;
- health professionals;
- social workers
