SEND Advice and Support Services - Beezee Bodies

BeeZee Bodies (healthy lifestyles programme) and No Limits (sport for people with disabilities) have merged together to develop the B-Active programme designed to offer practical advice and ideas about how to live a healthy life and create more genuine opportunities for children with disabilities to access sport. The programme is designed to enhance children's self-confidence, try a range of different sporting activities (that children can also access after the programme finishes), provide practical and realistic ideas for making healthier changes (for example around snacks and portion sizes) and also create a supportive environment where families can interact and learn from each other.

What do you need to know about the B-Active programme:

• The B-Active programme is for all children with learning and physical disabilities (of a healthy weight or overweight), aged 10 - 16 years
• A parent/carer must attend all sessions with the child
• The B-Active programme is 10 weeks long
