Sunderland Road has become dangerous at the corner next to the new garage and mechanics on the bend. There have been several near misses between cars trying to get round the parked vehicles and on coming traffic. Parking is often up on the pacement also, which has added additional issues to pedestrians and some reports of mothers have to push prams onto the road to get around the parked cars.

This is a safety issue and there needs to be restrictions put in place to keep the local area safe. Given the volume of traffic on the road and the access to the industrial estate meaning often larger vehicles use this road, there must be accountability when businesses create unsafe conditions.
