Dear Council representatives,

As a resident of Chandos Road I am deeply concerned over the inconsiderate parking of vehicles on the pavement between 1 and 11 Chandos Road.

The parking on this part of Chandos Road has become dangerous in that cars are parking on the pavement making wheel chair and baby buggy access inaccessible. The road is already narrow at this piont and so vehicles that have only one way in and out of Chandos Road from Dunstable Street are having to back up into Dunstable Street and towards Crayton Road. This does cause problems for emergency vehicles, delivery trucks and residents getting to and from their homes where parking is already limited. It is also causing residents difficulty in accessing their drive ways.
The problem more prominent at the weekends when there is live music at pubs or activities on at other local venues. Cars are then left overnight. Other drivers when parking ofter honk their horns which is also annoying as it is not the residents who have left their cars there.

Cars have also stated being parked during the day that has caused problems with lorries delivering materials to the building site in Catherine Gardens. It is only a matter of time before cars are damaged.

I would appreciate it if this issue could be acted on asap.
