Anti-social behaviour info for housing tenants - Unsanitary conditions or hoarding in council properties

Advice

Hoarding is a disorder that is very different to collecting, it is where someone acquires or collects an excessive number of items and stores them in a chaotic manner. The disorder is a serious concern, it causes distress to the individual and those around them, there can also be health and safety implications.

If you are concerned about your safety or the safety of someone else, you must contact the police on 999 if it an emergency or 101 for a non-emergency.

Let us know by completing this e-form. Tell us if the incident has a report number and where possible the officer’s name so that we are aware of this problem and can work with the police if required.
