A to Z of recycling - Pill blister packs

Description

Pill blister packs are made of multiple materials that cannot be separated or recycled at home and should be placed in your black household waste bin.
Some pharmacies, such as Superdrug, accept blister packs for recycling at collection points in stores.
You can recycle the cardboard box blister packs come in as well as the instruction leaflets that come with the medicine. You can leave the paper leaflet inside the box to be recycled.
Unopened, unused and out of date medicines should be returned to pharmacies for disposal.
