A to Z of recycling - Plant pots

Plastic plant pots can be recycled at home in your green- or orange-lidded recycling bin. Please do not dispose of plastic plant pots in your garden waste bin.

If plant pots are in good condition, you can donate them to charity, pass them on for free through sites such as Freegle or give them to family and friends. Some garden centres will take back plastic plant pots to be recycled.
