A to Z of recycling - Beds

Beds can be accepted and collected by many organisations and charities depending on the condition and whether the cover materials conform to fire regulations.  Our Reuse shop at Thorn Household Waste Recycling Centre will also accept reusable furniture.  

Alternatively, Central Bedfordshire Council offer a chargeable collection service for many items. More information about this service and to check which items we can and can’t accept is on our website.

If these options aren’t viable then most furniture can be disposed of at all our recycling centres.
