e-petitions - No parking signs on Canesworde Road, Dunstable

We are asking for the No Parking signs on the railings of Bennets Rec to be made more prominent/larger so people do not park on the path or park on the double yellow lines. They are far too small everyone ignores them. We the residents are constantly getting in touch with the Council for traffic fines to be handed out.

People are constantly parking at the weekends while using the park when the carpark is full, and during the summer when the splash park is open, they park on the path and on the double yellow lines. People totally ignore the tiny signs on the park railings – explaining no parking on the paths. It’s dangerous and people walking on the path with ie small children or wheelchair users have to cross the road because the cars are on the path or half on the kerb.
