We request and require that Central Bedfordshire Council (CBC) implements a 20MPH zone throughout the village of Clophill to include the whole of the area currently within the 30mph zone, plus Little Lane. To provide appropriate clear signage to ensure motorists are aware.

Excessive speeds have been noted on a regular basis within the village of Clophill endangering pedestrians, cyclists, horse riders and other motorists.

Clophill has very narrow lanes, many of which do not have footpaths. The footpaths that are in place are often very narrow, enabling only single file walking, with pedestrians often having to use the road.
