We the undersigned petition Central Bedfordshire Council to implement a safe, traffic free, inclusive cycle route between Leighton Buzzard and Stanbridge, passing the Leighton rugby club, safe enough for children to cycle along and wide enough for disability adapted cycles and cargo tricycles

Currently the Sewell Greenway offers a safe traffic free route from Stanbridge to Dunstable and beyond. Sadly this is largely wasted however as an accessible and inclusive transport route for commuters and other cyclists as there's no safe way to access it from Leighton Buzzard. Please implement a traffic free walking and cycling route from Leighton Buzzard to Stanbridge, ideally going past the LB RFC grounds so that the Sewell Greenway and Stanbridge can be accessed sustainably via active travel.
