- How the apprenticeship is completed

Apprentices will be supported by an experienced assessor to achieve the knowledge, skills and behaviours as set out in the apprenticeship standard. Each apprentice will have an e-learning package linked to their apprenticeship and is required to attend monthly tutorials. All apprentices are observed in the workplace and have written assessments to complete.
- Requirements of this apprenticeship

Apprentices must be in a suitable role to enable them to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours specified within the apprenticeship standard, and be given a minimum of 6 hours per week for off-the-job training.
- Employment requirements

Apprentices must be employed for at least 30 hours per week for the duration of the programme, and paid in line with the National Apprenticeship Minimum Wage.
- Maths and English requirements

- Apprentices aged 16 to 18 without level 2 maths and English qualification will be required to undertake a functional skills programme and achieve a level 2 to achieve the apprenticeship. Level 2 is equivalent to GCSE grades 4-1 or C-A*.
- Apprentices aged 19 and over who do not already hold the required maths or English qualification may not need to undertake and achieve maths or English to pass the apprenticeship. This will be dependent on the employers decision.
- Apprentices aged 16 to 18 without level 2 maths and English qualification will be required to undertake a functional skills programme and achieve a level 2 to achieve the apprenticeship. Level 2 is equivalent to GCSE grades 4-1 or C-A*.

Levy payers: £5,000
Non-levy payers: fully funded if apprentice is aged 16-21, otherwise 5% (£250)
