A to Z of recycling - Toothpaste box

Description

Most types of cardboard can be recycled. Toothpaste boxes can be placed loosely in your dry recycling (green/orange lidded) bin at home.
Tips for recycling cardboard:

  • break down any boxes and large cardboard before placing them in your recycling bin. Please do not leave large sheets of cardboard by the side of the bin as they will not be collected.
  • greasy, damp, or wet cardboard cannot be recycled – the fibres in cardboard are ruined when they become wet or greasy, therefore impacting the quality of the material. Cardboard heavily contaminated with food can also prevent other materials from being recycled.
  • remove tape and labels where you can.
