A to Z of recycling - Household metal items

Household metal items, such as cutlery, utensils, or watering cans, can’t be recycled at home, but if they are in good condition, you can donate them to charity or pass them on for free through sites such as Freegle.

If your item can't be reused, it can be recycled in a metal container at any of our Household Waste Recycling Centres. Please do not put household metal items in your dry recycling bin at home.
