Tiddenfoot Waterside Park is a 13 hectare site, bordered by Mentmore Road, and the Grand Union Canal. Sand extraction has left a 3 hectare lake, grassland, scrub, willow woodland and a poplar plantation. It is very important for wildlife, and is designated as a County Wildlife Site. There is a surfaced path around the site.

The lake is well known for its catfish, with angling rights held by the Leighton Buzzard Anglers Club. This site is also home to the Canal Festival - a very popular local event held each summer. It is managed in partnership with The Greensand Trust.
