Emergency information - assistance centres
If there are any current emergencies, we will update this section with the latest information and the locations of any assistance centres that have been set-up.
An assistance centre can be set-up in an emergency to offer those affected a one-stop shop for shelter, information and help. It is a physical point of focus for people affected by an emergency during response and recovery.
In an emergency within Central Bedfordshire, we will coordinate the set-up of assistance centres using our emergency volunteers from the emergency partnership, known as BLEVEC (link opens in new window).
