We have an integrated corporate parenting service which includes, in the same modern building on the outskirts of Bedford: court and permanence, LAC, leaving care and unaccompanied asylum seeking children and fostering and adoption and resource and placement teams.
We work closely with our Children in Care Council (link opens in new window) to make sure we understand what it is like to be cared for by Central Bedfordshire. We also have our own pledge, setting out what we will do to ensure that these children and young people have the very best opportunities that can be provided.
We work closely with a range of internal and external partner agencies such as the Virtual School, LAC Nurses, CAMHS, Housing and independent and voluntary sectors.
