Become part of a group of tenants helping to shape better housing services across Central Bedfordshire.

Help make sure tenants' voices are heard and our housing services continue to improve.

Why join?

Improve fairness

Your involvement helps ensure services  are considered from the tenant's perspective, increasing transparency and confidence in the services we offer.

Hold us to account

By reviewing complaint outcomes, trends and lessons learned, you'll help identify underlying issues and encourage long-term improvements, rather than simply resolving individual complaints.

Develop skills and experience

Gain valuable experience in:

  • communication
  • critical thinking
  • governance
  • problem solving
  • housing policy

This experience can also support future volunteering or employment opportunities.

What you'll do

As a panel member you'll help us by:

  • reviewing anonymised complaints
  • providing resident feedback
  • help improve the services we deliver
  • shape staff training
  • influence future service improvements

The difference panels have already made

Our panels have already helped deliver:

  • improved complaint responses
  • better personalised communication
  • clearer quality and service standards
  • stronger service improvements

What's involved?

We know everyone's time is valuable.

Our panel members:

  • only commit 1 to 2 hours each month
  • meet online or in person
  • meet new people
  • receive gift vouchers as a thank you

Who can join?

We're looking for tenants who want to make a positive difference by sharing their views and helping improve housing services.

No specialist knowledge is required, just a willingness to listen, contribute and help improve services for everyone.
