UK Shared Prosperity Fund and Rural England Prosperity Fund Community Grants Scheme

Apply for a grant to enhance your community facilities, green spaces and local community assets

How to apply

To apply for the grant, you need to follow these steps:

  • check eligibility: make sure your organisation and project meet the criteria and guidelines (PDF)
  • prepare for your application: prepare your notes outlining your project’s objectives, activities, budget, quotes, governance, timeline, expected outcomes, and evaluation plan. Look at each section of the form and think about which section all your information should go in
  • submit your application:
    1. download the application form (Word)
    2. complete the form
    3. email the completed form and all required supporting documents to community.grants@centralbedfordshire.gov.uk before the deadline – the deadline is Friday 25 July 2025, 10am
      Please note: Email is not a secure medium, so please ensure you take appropriate precautions to protect any sensitive data
  • wait for feedback: our team will review your application and assess its merit and scoring criteria – we may contact you for further information or clarification
  • receive funding: if your application is successful, we will notify you and provide you with the funding agreement, payment details and monitoring requirements

Meet the Funder sessions

We will be running Meet the Funder sessions, this is to help you understand the grant criteria and submit a competitive application.  

Two Meet the Funder sessions will be held online, via Microsoft Teams on the following dates:

  • Tuesday 24 June, 4pm to 5pm
  • Friday 27 June, 10am to 11am

The sessions will be recorded, and time allowed at the end of the presentation for a Q&A with the team.

The session will cover:

  • overview of UK Shared Prosperity (UKSPF) and the Rural England Prosperity Fund (REPF)
  • UKSPF and REPF investment themes and objectives of the fund
  • examples of previously funded projects
  • what can be funded and who can apply
  • timetable
  • how to apply
  • how will your application be assessed
  • what we will need from you
  • support available

To book onto a session, please email community.grants@centralbedfordshire.gov.uk by latest Monday 23 June with your name, your organisation, which session you would like to attend and your email address to share the invite with.
