We're inviting residents to celebrate the official opening of the brand-new Leighton Leisure and Community Centre with a special Family Fun Day on Saturday 27 June 2026.

Residents are being invited to donate children’s bikes at a special collection event taking place on Monday 25 May, from 10.30am to 12.30pm, at the Sports Pavilion, Tithe Farm Road, Houghton Regis.

Work is underway on a superb new leisure and community centre in Leighton Buzzard where residents will enjoy modern sports, fitness, and community facilities.

Over 1,000 people joined Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, Olympic sprinter and Olympian swimmer, Mark Foster, to celebrate the opening of the new leisure and community centre on Saturday 29 March.

The new Houghton Regis Leisure and Community Centre will open to the public on 29 March with a Gala Open Day.
