We will temporarily pause garden waste collections for 12 weeks this winter, from Monday, 1 December 2025 to Friday, 20 February 2026. Collections will resume on Monday, 23 February 2026.
People who want to continue with fortnightly garden waste collections from 1 April 2024 are being urged to sign up to ensure they get the most from our subscription-only service.
On Thursday 25 May, Councillor Gareth Mackey was appointed as Chair of Central Bedfordshire Council. Councillor Sue Bell has been appointed as Vice Chair.
