Last night (Thursday 27 February), Central Bedfordshire Council agreed a budget.

Central Bedfordshire Council is under huge financial pressure and is having to make some tough financial decisions in the months to come.

At a meeting held on Tuesday (9 April), our Executive made a decision about how to allocate almost £1.5million of government funding to support local families.

Councillor Adam Zerny was elected as the new Leader of Central Bedfordshire at the first full Council meeting since the local elections on 4 May.

On Thursday 25 May, Councillor Gareth Mackey was appointed as Chair of Central Bedfordshire Council. Councillor Sue Bell has been appointed as Vice Chair.
