The majority of Central Bedfordshire families applying for a school place this year have received good news, with 9 in 10 children offered a place at their first preference primary school.
Eleven local authorities across the East of England have joined forces in a bid to collectively recruit more foster carers to look after some of the region’s most vulnerable children.
Hinksley Road Recreation Ground in Flitwick will see the fifth Tiny Forest planted in Central Bedfordshire, improving access to nature for local communities.
Applications are now open for children and young people who are due to start school, or transfer to middle, secondary or upper school in September 2024.
