The majority of Central Bedfordshire families applying for a school place this year have received good news, with 9 in 10 children offered a place at their first preference primary school.
Eleven local authorities across the East of England have joined forces in a bid to collectively recruit more foster carers to look after some of the region’s most vulnerable children.
Young carers from Central Bedfordshire were treated to a series of exciting and well-deserved activities over Easter, providing them with a much-needed break from their caring responsibilities.
Applications are now open for children and young people who are due to start school, or transfer to middle, secondary or upper school in September 2024.
