The majority of Central Bedfordshire families applying for a school place this year have received good news, with 9 in 10 children offered a place at their first preference primary school.
Central Bedfordshire Council is consulting on proposed fee increases across services (8 April - 20 May 2026) to address funding pressures and maintain vital local services.
Applications are now open for children and young people who are due to start school, or transfer to middle, secondary or upper school in September 2024.
