The majority of Central Bedfordshire families applying for a school place this year have received good news, with 9 in 10 children offered a place at their first preference primary school.
Eleven local authorities across the East of England have joined forces in a bid to collectively recruit more foster carers to look after some of the region’s most vulnerable children.
At a meeting held on Tuesday (9 April), our Executive made a decision about how to allocate almost £1.5million of government funding to support local families.
Applications are now open for children and young people who are due to start school, or transfer to middle, secondary or upper school in September 2024.
