The majority of Central Bedfordshire families applying for a school place this year have received good news, with 9 in 10 children offered a place at their first preference primary school.

Pupils moving to secondary and upper schools in September have found out whether they have been allocated one of their school preferences.

We have awarded grants to ten organisations to support community arts projects, cultural events, and art development programs.

Applications are now open for children and young people who are due to start school, or transfer to middle, secondary or upper school in September 2024.
