We're reminding residents that bin collection days will change over the Christmas and New Year period.

We would like to thank residents for their patience and understanding during a brief suspension of dry recycling collections.

Central Bedfordshire Council is advising residents that all dry recycling collections are temporarily suspended, effective immediately, and will remain suspended until further notice.

We will temporarily pause garden waste collections for 12 weeks this winter, from Monday, 1 December 2025 to Friday, 20 February 2026. Collections will resume on Monday, 23 February 2026.

This October, we'll be stepping up our work to tackle fly-tipping across the area.
