Landlords: Register for free coronavirus advice online event
Are you a private landlord in Central Bedfordshire? Whether you have one property, or many, emergency government legislation during the COVID-19 pandemic will have affected you.
To help you navigate the legislation and changes, we have organised a free event to bring together landlords with us and our partners.
When: Wednesday, 29 July 2020 from 6pm (registration opens at 5:55pm)
Where: Online virtual session via Microsoft Teams (you will be sent a direct link to attend once you register)
What is included at the forum?
You'll get the chance to share information and get general advice.
Changes in legislation
We'll also have a presentation from Vic Daws, of the National Residential Landlord Association, on some of the changes in legislation affecting landlords across the country. This will cover:
- coronavirus advice for landlords
- 5-year electrical safety checks
- extension of Pause for Possessions
- Tenant Fees Act
There'll also be an opportunity to break out into various virtual rooms, to discuss specific topics with representatives from our Private Rented Sector Housing and Housing Options teams.
