How to apply
A panel of officers from our SEND service and school organisation team, together with head teachers from a special and mainstream school, meet in April, June, October and January to assess applications and set the programme. The next panel is being held on 25 April 2024 and applications are invited.

All applications must be submitted with a copy of the school’s accessibility plan and, where relevant, an occupational therapist report, or medical report clearly recommending the equipment. Applications received without these documents will be rejected and returned as incomplete and the school will need to re-apply.

Equipment for pupils with hearing and sight impairments must be submitted through the HI and VI Teams as below:

All sight equipment applications must be submitted through the Specialist Resource Officer/Technician email: visualteam@centralbedfordshire.gov.uk for more information.
