Transfer to Upper School 2018 - Moving into Central Bedfordshire

By law you must make your transfer to upper school application to your home local authority (where you pay council tax). We consider you to be a resident of Central Bedfordshire (for admission purposes) once you have moved into a property in the area, have exchanged contracts or have a signed tenancy agreement (by both you and the landlord / letting agent).

Applications made on time (by 31 October 2017)

Moving before 31 October 2017?

If you are moving into Central Bedfordshire and you have moved, exchanged contracts or have a signed tenancy agreement (by both you and the landlord / letting agent) by 31 October 2017, please apply directly our School Admissions team. We need to receive your application by midnight of 31 October 2017 in order for it to be processed in the on time allocation.

Moving between 1 November 2017 and 1 March 2018?

If you have not moved, exchanged contracts or have a signed tenancy agreement (by both you and the landlord / letting agent) by 31 October 2017, you will need to apply to the local authority where you live, which will forward any Central Bedfordshire school preferences to us which we will process in our on time allocation. Your application will be processed based on your address as of 31 October 2017, even if you move to Central Bedfordshire before the offer day (1 March 2018).

When you have moved, exchanged contracts or have a signed tenancy agreement (by both you and the landlord/letting agent) please inform us by completing a change of address form (PDF 56.6KB) . We will then take over the application from the local authority you applied to. Your application will continue to be processed using your address as of 31 October 2017, however we will write to your new address on the national offer day (1 March 2018) with the outcome of your application.

In the late allocation we will update your application with your new address and if your application was unsuccessful then your updated application will be processed in the late allocation.
