Information and advice on welfare changes

We want to make sure that if you have debt or work worries, you and your family can access the right support and advice at the right time.

There’s a lot of help available, from rescheduling rent and mortgage payments to accessing training to improve your chances of getting a job. We have put together a list of contact details (PDF 808.1KB) for a range of help and advice on issues that might be affecting you.

Advice Central

AdviceCentral (link opens in new window) is a good place to start with questions; it's an independent and confidential service for Central Bedfordshire residents.

Telephone: 0300 303 66 66
Email: info@advicecentral.org.uk

Funded by the Big Lottery and the Cabinet Office, the service works closely with other social and welfare advice groups and with your permission, their advisers will arrange for one of their partner organisations to contact you with relevant support.
