During the works – Clophill roundabout consultation

We expect construction would start in autumn 2022 and take about 12 months to complete.
Given the complexity and nature of the works at a busy junction, road users would need to allow more time for their journeys, especially at peak times.
Traffic management in the form of temporary traffic lights would be used wherever possible during the works to keep the roundabout open. We would use signposted diversions to appropriate roads when we need to close an approach to the roundabout to carry out work safely.
Road users and local communities would receive advance notice of any required closures and diversions.
There would be significant benefits for road users once the scheme is complete.
