Have fun in our libraries this summer
We have 12 libraries in Central Bedfordshire, each hosting a variety of activities this summer.

Join the 2025 Summer Reading Challenge: Story Garden!
Running from Friday 18 July to Saturday 6 September, this year’s challenge invites children to explore the wonders of storytelling and nature.
With free activity packs, nature-themed events, and specially selected books, children are encouraged to read 6 titles, including e-books and audiobooks, to earn rewards. After 3 books, they can collect a seed pack, and those who complete the challenge will receive a medal, certificate, and entry into a prize draw for a £50 voucher.
Free crafts, a treasure hunt, and a chance to win a £10 book token are also part of the fun.
