How we can help unpaid carers get PPE
If you're an unpaid carer, we offer a range of personal protective equipment (PPE) for you and the person you care for, if you need it.
- protective gloves
- disposable face coverings
- a face shield
Read Public Health England's PPE guide for information on when to use PPE and how to use it correctly.
How to order your PPE
To order your PPE:
- email firstname.lastname@example.org
- make sure the title of the email is “Carers' PPE”
- include your name and address (so we can post your PPE to you) and your glove size
If you don't have internet access
Call us on 0300 300 8900 with your name, address and glove size; we'll arrange for your PPE to be sent to you.
How do you know if you're an unpaid carer?
You're a carer if you're an adult or child who looks after:
- a family member
- their partner
- a friend
The care you give is unpaid.
These people may have:
- an illness
- a disability
- a mental health problem
- an addiction
They can't cope without your support.
