Supported Lodgings for 16 to 17 year olds in Central Bedfordshire

Supported Lodgings allowance and pay

Payments are only made when a young person is placed with you and are usually paid a month in advance. When a child or young person aged 16 – 17 years is placed, the Supported Lodgings carer will receive £192 per week for providing accommodation and support. The young person will also receive a personal allowance.

What is the allowance for?

The allowance should be used to cover:

rent
bills (excluding use of telephone)
food with a payment that reflects the support you will offer the young person
