Thank you to everyone who attended our Flood Ready Together community drop-in events across Central Bedfordshire in October 2025. We enjoyed connecting with residents and sharing practical advice on preparing for flooding. Flooding can happen from rivers, drains, sewers, or heavy rainfall. Being prepared can make a real difference. To help you get ready, you can still access our Flood Ready Together plan and booklet, which includes practical steps, local flood maps, and guidance from the National Flood Forum, the Internal Drainage Board, Anglian Water, and the Environment Agency.
