*This weekly fee will be applied at all new independent living schemes and to new residents at Priory View to support residents who may need to access site care on an ad-hoc basis as they do not have a regular care package in the scheme where they live.
*The independent living care charge of £19.10 per week per apartment can be discounted to £10 per week per apartment and this will be applied when an individual with a low income is identified who does not have care needs but is otherwise eligible for independent living. Those who have care needs, are suffering financial hardship or are unable to pay will be covered by the existing assessment process.

Money management appointeeship charges
A money management appointeeship is a legal arrangement where the council is appointed to manage the welfare benefits of someone unable to do so themselves. The appointee is responsible for receiving funds, paying bills, and acting in the individual’s best interest.
