The knowledge and understanding of babies and young children, aged birth to 7, with applied knowledge in the early years (birth to 5).

Those who are working or volunteering for a minimum of 15 hours per week, in an early years setting. You must be a key worker and involved in planning and evaluation.

What are the entry requirements? You must be at least 16 years old.
- How the course is completed

By being observed in the workplace and completing e-learning and written tasks.
You will need to demonstrate competency in all age groups: 0 –1 yr11 months, 2-2yrs 11 months,3 –5 yrs.
