Duck End Nature Reserve
 - Overview
 -

This small 0.84 hectare site is a wetland habitat and the last surviving remnant of Maulden Moor, drained for agriculture in the 19th century. A boardwalk takes you over the wettest parts of the reserve where invertebrates thrive. Look out for dragonflies and damselflies in spring and summer, as well as a wealth of butterflies.
