All our car parks are open 24 hours, except West Street multi-storey car park in Leighton Buzzard.
Chargeable hours are 8am to 6pm, Monday to Saturday. Parking is free on Sundays and bank holidays, except:
- Steppingley Road car park in Flitwick costs £1.70 all day on Saturdays and Sundays
- West Street car park in Leighton Buzzard costs £2.20 all day on Sundays
Free parking is also available:
- at Ashton Square car park from 1pm to 6pm on Wednesdays
- at Duncombe Drive car park from 1pm to 6pm on Tuesdays

Changes to free Saturday parking
Free parking on Saturdays is no longer available at Ashton Square in Dunstable or Duncombe Drive in Leighton Buzzard.
This change was agreed as part of the budget in February 2024 and supports our sustainability plan.
Buses are available to our town centres, with operators offering a £2 fare. Residents with a concessionary bus pass can travel for free at any time across Central Bedfordshire. Special ticket offers are also available on the new Leighton Buzzard routes.
