The Adoption and Special Guardianship Support Fund (ASGSF) provides funding for essential therapeutic services for children and young people who have experienced trauma and need specialist support.
Set up to provide essential therapeutic services for children who have experienced trauma, this can fund up to £2,500 per year for specialist assessment and £3,000 per year for therapy for the child up until they turn 21 (or 25 if they have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)).
Families with children/young people with Special Guardianship Orders and Care Arrangement Orders can access the Adoption and Special Guardianship Support Fund (ASGSF) by contacting Central Bedfordshire's Integrated Front Door (IFD) service.
