During July – August 2025 we consulted on the Air Quality Action Plan outlining the measures the council intends to implement to improve air quality within the Air Quality Management Area and the wider area.
The consultation results (PDF) are summarised in the Executive report and are available on our website as part of the Executive Committee papers. The majority of respondents supported the priorities and actions identified in the plan.
The Executive made a decision on 7 October 2025 to approve the Air Quality Action Plan.
