Everyone should be able to register and cast their vote. We have included links to accessible information on registering to vote and the voting process together with easy-read guides.
Changes to election law now allows people to choose anyone who is over 18 to accompany them in the polling station to help them vote including carers who may not be eligible to vote at that election.
If you require additional help in the polling station the staff are there to assist.
Voting passport
A voting passport can help you explain what kind of help you need when voting at a polling station.
You can download a voting passport from My Vote My Voice.
Complete the voting passport before you go to vote and take it with you to the polling station.
