With 1.4 million rail journeys passing through Leighton Buzzard Station every year, Central Bedfordshire Council, together with your local service providers, is working to improve your local transport services and we are committed to help you save time and money when you travel to and from the station.

Get on Track, the station travel plan, has been launched to help you get to the station more quickly and efficiently.

We want you to have all the travel information you need so you can make the best choice on how you get to the station, and at the same time we want to help you save time and money.

Travel Clinics

With rail fares going up in January, we are planning a series of special Travel Clinics designed to save you money on travel to and from the station. Come along and chat to us in the Ticket Office about your journey options, or anything else about getting to and from the station. Our forthcoming events are:

It's better by bus

With buses running as frequently as every half an hour, with some buses timed to meet the busiest trains, your local bus service really is a great way to travel to the station. Oh, and did we mention that the price of a bus ticket is roughly half the cost of parking at the station?
