The Council has produced the Validation Checklists following Guidance published by the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) in July 2009, ("Streamlining information requirements for planning applications"). Part One sets out national requirements for all applications including relevant forms and plans. Part Two provides a list of additional information requirements, which will be needed in certain circumstances, dependant on factors such as the location or characteristics of the site and the scale and nature of the development.
